Dr. Chirag Arora is Board certified & Fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in the treatment of shoulder & knee conditions, especially sports-related injuries. Dr. Arora believes in quality-based ethical treatment for all his patients. He has performed more than 1000 surgical cases and has treated more than 10000 patients with shoulder and knee symptoms. He is extensively involved in research, teaching, and patient education platforms alongside his practice.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Dr. Arora completed his undergraduate & postgraduate education at the premier medical Maulana Azad Medical College, New Delhi. He further completed his training from PGIMER, Chandigarh, believed to be one of the toughest institutes to get into, throughout the country. He developed an interest in minimally invasive surgical techniques (arthroscopy) and went on to complete a fellowship in shoulder & knee surgery under Prof David V Rajan, the pioneer of arthroscopy in India. He further polished his skills at the University of Aarhus, Denmark, and South Korea. He was recently awarded membership of the international college of surgeons, USA, and the Indian Arthroscopy society honorary fellowship.
CURRENT PRACTICE
Dr. Arora has been associated with Max super speciality hospital, Fortis Noida, and Indian Spinal Injuries Centre, New Delhi in the past. He is presently part of elite journals as an editor and involved in the training and education of PT and younger orthopedic surgeons. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed manuscripts in major orthopedics and sports medicine journals, and numerous book chapters, and routinely serves as teaching faculty for orthopedic courses on advanced surgical techniques.
Currently, he is associated with CK Birla hospital and Apollo Hospital.
